Plot:
Dr. Kabir Malhotra (Rajneesh Duggal) lives in Manchester with his beautiful wife, Sia (Roshni Chopra). While running late to meet his wife, Kabir finds his wife to be missing. Launching a police complaint, he knocks door to door asking her friends if they have a clue as to where she has gone. Meanwhile, while searching, Kabir is approached by a woman who can lead the trail to her wife, Sia. He hears the rumors about the lady, but knows that she is doing it all for publicity and money. However, her predictions come out to be true and even the police tags her along for the search. How the lady helps Kabir to find his wife Sia concludes the story.
Analysis:
Having the same production house, ‘Phhir’ has a similar poster as that of ‘1920’ and ‘Haunted’. The story is somewhat new, but lacks in bringing out the real concept of the plot. The story has something new in it, like a small spark, but the roles played were just awful, as the side roles and supporting actors killed it on the spot. The trailer was appealing as it looked like a new story, but the viewers were disappointed from the start of the movie.
Star Performances:
Rajneesh Duggal, Roshni Chopra, and Monica portray their part beautifully. The plot lags in execution and a star cast make the movie a slow runner in the theaters.
