) a star comedian who is fighting and recovering his alcohol addiction is being interviewed by Chelsea(Rosario Dawson) that how he rose to fae with his stand up comedies and how he loathes some critics like James Nielson who has always insulted his work. He also expresses to Chelsea his desire to rise from comedy and get involved in serious films which raise an issue. He recalls how a person named Jazzy Dee would supply him drugs, alcohol and women to enjoy his life but also made him repay by forcing the girls to he got intimate with to complain about the money he failed to pay them eventually resulting in him being arrested.
The rest of the story unfolds with Chelsea and Andre having fun while interviewing people ranging from his girlfriend to some other stars like

Analysis: For those of you who have watched Chris Rock’s movies earlier you might not be that much disappointed nor would be that happy while you watch Top Five. Though this movie is better than other comedies of such kind, still something always feels to be missing when you are watching Top Five. Screenplay and cinematography are not an issue here with both of them satisfying the audience especially the screenplay which is a delight to watch. Also Chris Rock’s comedy as always is beautiful. With his slapstick talking and weirdness he manages to enthrall the audience. Rest of the actors too have portrayed their roles well.
Star Performances: Undoubtedly Chris Rock and Rosario Dawson are the shining starts of this movie who make sure that the chemistry they develop controls the audience till the end if this movie. Also the cuteness of this pair in this movie is worth watching. And how not to mention Adam Sandler who is there for a short role but his mere presence makes you feel that this was an icing on the cake.
What's There?
• Humor Quotient is good in this movie with few really rolling on the floor scenes.
• Tidy Screenplay which feels good.
• Cute and happening chemistry between Chris and Rosario.
What's Not There?
• Scenes seem to stretch a bit too much for adjustment for other actors.
• Chris over reacts sometimes which does not look good.
• Timelines of other actors could have been a bit longer to expand humor.
Verdict: Top Five could be seen as a “One-Timer” only but if you are Chris Rock fan one-time seems too harsh. But definitely this movie is a sure yes for fun and humor.
