Director Oliver Stone has tried his hands to create a political documentary to portray the actuality behind a so-called strong, powerful leader of people who is often ridiculed by terms like "as a strongman, as a buffoon, as a clown.". A strong subject presented in a road movie format, which also got critical acclaims as well as negative word of mouth along with being banned in certain areas. Also, some opposition parties threatened the director.
Plot
The US Free market economics has been analyzed thoroughly, and a brief view has been given upon the facts collected from International Monetary Fund that how they have failed miserably to solve the financial issues regarding Inequality in America’s individual income. There is also a brief depiction of how socialist leaders have risen over the time from the economic disruptions created, like Argentine peso collapse of 2001,  and suspicions by Latins of U.S. drug eradication efforts and illegal shipping of natural resources through multinational companies.,The movie gives a clear idea how those socio-democratic big people are still wearing their crowns. The narrative shows real facts, and the screenplay is linear making the movie less complex regarding movie viewing with a strong research behind the content. Music is quite underused throughout the movie as it is a documentary.
Verdict
While the numbers of brave movies with strong subjects are becoming countable in hands and typical entertainers are increasing, this movie is quite a great watch for serious movie watchers, documentary lovers and people who are interested in contemporary politics of US.Â
