The music is composed by Michael Hearst. The cinematography is done by Laela Kilbourn and Ryo Murakami. The editing is in Nicholas Bussey and David Lieberman’s department. Richard Borge and Nicholas Vranizan have handled the VFX of this film. The film features Jonah Conlin, Zach Ivins, Zoe Reiches, Reed Spool, Brian Woodbridge, Derrin Burger, Derek Hughes, and many more magicians.

Plot

Magic-obsessed kids gather at a camp where Blaine and Copperfield once performed, they showcase their magic skills and learn new tricks too.

Star performance

As this is a documentary, everybody shares their opinions in a very authentic fashion, which is engaging. The excitement you have when discussing your interest is shown delightfully. Nobody is putting up an act, they showcase themselves as ordinary people which is excellent.

Analysis

The director Judd Ehrlich showed the curiosity the kids have well–The excitement when showing and learning new tricks. The film is really about kids being their authentic selves,  Being focused on their goals when it's something they love. Magic Camp tries to showcase how a gifted group of kids use their magic skills to socialize, deal with their issues, and achieve their future endeavors. Every kid has an individual story. An experienced kid magician who has again hopes to win the prize, A nine year old kid who takes his talent of magic seriously, a kid who uses his magic to honor God and a girl who tries to stand out in the field of magic–suffering from Tourette's Syndrome. The documentary has the childlike wonder it wants to showcase and has a beautiful message of kids using their talents to succeed.
