Aether, a science fiction cum action film is directed by Drew Hall and Horst Sarubin. This is a very innovative yet a short movie, with a lot of thriller scenes. In this contemporary world, a group of outcasts come together to save their homeland from a bunch of dangerous assassins, and political contenders. The crew is impressive, two Oscar winners Alex funke for lord of the rings and Robin Mathews for Dalias Buyers club are included in the crew.

While watching this film, the audience will indeed feel at home because in reality the location doesn’t really matter, whether it is a Roman village, or a starship or in the city of Spectre, the way human beings live & their condition will not show any variation no matter where these characters are. An extended version of a video game is shown here. The story follows a league of ordinary people trying to escape from a tyrannical system. The movie just doesn’t forget to showcase the familiar concept of “bad guys”.

It is also a great sight to see the directorial debut of Horst Sarubin who is sharing his duties with Drew Hall, this seems to be a steep learning curve for him, but at the same time the base of the movie is quite impressive. The narrative concept is not a repetitive one; it just connects the Aether’verse with the overall story. A lot is hidden in store for you, so wait to discover it all.
