Â
Star Performances
Â
Hanks gave his usual excellent performance. He has proven himself to be the most suitable for the role of Clay. The film has a fine set of supporting actors who depict their story in an elusive way. Omar, as Yousuf, has done incredible justice to his role. His chemistry with Hanks is exceptionally creative and warming. Sarita Choudhary as Zahra has a powerful impact on screen, along with gorgeous chemistry with Hanks. Sidse, David, and Megan have also given outstanding performances in their respective roles. All the characters in the movie were aptly selected and added much more value to the storyline.
Â
Analysis
The movie has an excellent romantic comedy storyline infused with bittersweet instances. It is both humorous and sad at the same time. Though adapted from the original novel, The movie still fails to completely do justice to the story, as it feels carried away and misled from the origin. The movie has a thoughtful theme with exceptional actors. But the film also gives the underwhelming feeling that the potential of the fantastic star cast could have been used more wisely. There could be more dynamics added to Clay’s role to add to the depth of the theme. The movie could have shown more instances to explain the connection between characters.

What's not there?
•The movie becomes disenchanting at times because of the lack of depth in the characters.
•The movie may disappoint the audience who has read the novel, as the novel was amazingly detailed and gripping, but the movie fails to connect in some sequences.
Verdict
The movie has an exceptional storyline and a gorgeous star cast. The actors have fantastic chemistry and go beautifully with each other. The story may feel drowsy because of a lack of character development at times, but it will still prove to be a good watch, at least for once. The film is undoubtedly worth a watch.
