Plot
The movie is a summation of 60 plots within the 94 minutes of its duration, all the scenes aren’t interrelated. For many movies you’ve to take some time to really understand what goes on and this movie is one of them. The concept here is that every 60 seconds someone is tortured, slaughtered and all this hell is repeated, only with a different person. The short films range from exotic beasts showing up as ghosts to cynical human psychopaths doing things that a same person would never do.
One of the scenes shows a man hanging upside down in a room asking if someone’s there. In some scenes there’s use of clinical equipment for torture, classic Ouija board scenes where a group of friends try connecting with the ghosts and afterlife. A lot of grinding, hammering and chopping is involved too but of humans in this case. Some unintentionally land in these gruesome situations, whereas a few willingly choose to bring this hell upon themselves.
Star Performance
The movie includes a series of actors who play short yet vital roles throughout. The acting skill portrayed by most of actors is on-point without any exaggerating in the scenarios and most of them can be seen sticking to the script. The performance is spot on and relatively better than other horror movies that contain no plot and just screams.
Analysis
The screenplay and direction of the movie are pretty on point. The idea of compiling almost 60 different pieces of films and making them into a single movie being displayed on the big screen is fascinating and exciting. The visuals of the movie range from gruesome images to vivid scenes that one mightn’t understand in the very first go. The movie is based upon the classic 70’s to 80’s vibe with all the scenes being retro and it displays in the film quality too. The film was worked upon by professionals from different countries having different perspectives, which is quite visible in the sense of its direction and production.

Verdict
The movie all in all is an excellent recommendation to binge watch if you wish to explore the early 70’s to 80’s vibe movies, however if you feel nauseous seeing blood spill or violent scenes then you may skip this one.
