The minister says, “Nowadays honoring the people with the Padma Awards seems to be a headache.” He also told that when Asha Parekh approached him for the Padma Awards, she climbed 12 floors, as the lift in his apartment was not working. He said the actress wants to be honored with Padma Bhushan.
