Sachin Pilot
, the Congress leader, is a Lok Sabha MP. He is currently one of the few torch bearers of the Congress party, which is losing its hold on the country. In an interview with a newspaper, the 38-year-old politician talked about why he feels that it is just a bad phase for his party and not an end of its 131-year-old legacy. Although the Congress has lost the recent elections in Kerala and Assam, Sachin believes that they are the biggest opposition party at the national level and will defeat BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He also expressed his distaste for the BJP's claims of making the country free from Congress and believes it will never happen. When asked about their secular assertion which has been challenged now and then by the BJP, the young leader reminded people of the freedom struggle and how Congress has been working to unite the country since then.
