Azhar In A Controversy?

“Azhar” is the upcoming biopic based on the life history of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. The makers of Azhar deliberately avoided real names of certain personalities to prevent some controversies. However, the film has attracted some controversies. The makers have re-created some matches and the players. Although many scenes are recreated after the rush, similarities of some original matches, players and incidents are felt. Tony D’Souza directs this biopic, which is getting ready to be released in the theaters on 13th May. The match-fixing scandal is slightly unsettled and it might create a controversy, feel the makers. The makers also believe that as the film has focused the darkest days of cricket, it might open a can of worms. “Azhar” is presented by Sony Pictures Networks and Balaji Motion Pictures.
