Nalin Pradeep Udawela is a well-known Sri Lankan actor in the Stage Drama and Television Industry. He is also a famous politician. He was born on 20 March 1969 in Matale, Sri Lanka. In 1998, he started his career with the movie Julietge Bhumikawa, directed by Anthony Jackson. His other notable movies are Tharaka Mal, Parawarthana, and Asai Man Piyabanna. He has performed in over 45 television serials.

His famous theatre works are Juriya, Kelani Palama, Mandela Mandela, Megha, Modara Mola, Mee Harak, New Hunuwataye Kathawa, Sewanali Eda Minissu, and Suddek Oba Amathakai. In his political career, he became the organizer of the Homagama area, Colombo District. Here, he won 13,653 votes and became the councilor for the Western Provincial Council. Later, he ran for the same Council election under the democratic party in 2014. In addition to this, he received the Sumathi Award for his role in Nisala Wila. In 2007, he won the Sarasaviya Award for his role in Tharaka Mal AsaiMan Piyabanna.
