He began working for the TV series with his music skills that he often used to upload on his social media. Thilina De Silva has worked as a cast and crew member for various music videos. One of the featured and famous music videos is "Me Gindara."
He is a guitarist and a known actor in Sri Lanka. He played guitar for "Danena Thuru Ma" and was also involved in the song's cast. In June 2023, he acted in the episode 5 of JAM.
