Chandana Liyanarachchi was born on May 6, 1978 in Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka. He completed his education at Diyaketamulla Sripathy College, Kuliyapitiya Central College. He is married to Nadishika Sridevi. He is a great singer and works in genres such as pop music, soul music, Indian film pop, Indian indie, ghazal and classical music. He joined a popular youth service community in the 1990’s, this was his first step towards his career. He has produced great songs in the Sinhala language. One of his popular songs is Sithin Adinawa, a pop song.
