Priyantha Senevirathne

Priyantha Seneviratne is a famous actor in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama, and television. His full name is Thennakumbura Amarakoon Rajapaksa Wasala Mohottige Priyantha Seneviratne. He is famed and appreciated for his comedy roles and is also known for playing parts in prevalent television serials such as "Uncle Sam," "Pabalu," "Podi Mama," and "Isuru Bhavana."

Priyantha Seneviratne came to the world on March 5th in Thannekumbura, Kandy, Sri Lanka. He has three siblings, one elder sister, one elder brother, and one younger sister. His family had to move to Colombo as he suffered from severe asthma during his childhood. He got married to Kanchana Kariyapperuma, who is a music teacher. They both own two children: a daughter named Pujani Manikya, who was born on October 12, 2005, and a son named Chirath Gagan, who was born on September 28, 2007. Priyantha Seneviratne got into acting with the stage play "Makulu Del" in 1986. He was a first-year student at a technical college in Werahera during this time. He also produced the children's programs "Kathandara Pituwa," and "Balan Sabe Muthure," while he was working for Rupavahini Corporation.

He made his debut in cinema in the comedy film "Clean Out" directed by Roy de Silva in 2004. He got to play a significant role in this film.
