Brar Jessy, or Jaswinder Kaur, is an Indian Punjabi Author who writes stories. She hails from Malke, Punjab, and is a Ph.D. as well. Brar’s work includes topics of love, loss, healing, femininity, and family relations. She got inspiration from her grandmother, which shifted her focus to writing at the very early age of 16. It was in the year 2012 that she wrote her first book ‘Mai Sau Kudi Nhi Han. While other books she has written are Bijh Birkh and Svina Yaadan Da Sarmaya in collaboration with other authors.
Subsequently, she wrote a story for the movie Maa Da Khat which was in two parts and was released online through YouTube. She also makes different editions of her book. The 5th edition of the first book she wrote, Mai Sau Kudi Nhi Han, was released in 2019. Meanwhile, she was working on short story books as well.
