Tanishq Kaur

Tanishq Kaur, born Tamanna Kaur Anand in 1998, in Ludhiana, Punjab, is a popular singer in the native state. She went to Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School, where she won the title of Miss School, and then to Ramgarhia Girls College, both in her hometown. She learnt to sing from her mother who is a music teacher. She was a participant in the Voice of Punjab Season 7, 2016, a singing competition, and reached the semi-finals.

In 2018, she won the award for Best Debut (female) for her song Meri Jaan with Gurnam Bhullar at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards.
