Fateh Singh is a Canadian Indian rapper, singer, and songwriter whose stage name is Fateh Doe, or "Fateh." He lives in Toronto, Canada. His collaboration with Dr. Zeus in 2012 was the most significant break in his music career. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 19, 1986. His parents were Punjabi Sikhs from Jalandhar, Punjab. When he was six, his family moved to Hayward, California, USA. That's where he was introduced to hip-hop music. He went to John Muir Elementary School and then Hayward High School. After that, his family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Before he changed his name to Fateh, he was known as Young Fateh.
After that, he changed his name to Fateh Doe. He put out three mixtapes: Mr. Wall Street (2011), California State of Mind (2009), and One Verse Curse (2010). He also once tried to meet Dr. Zeus at one of his concerts in a California nightclub so that he could give him CDs of his mixtapes. Fateh became well-known after Dr. Zeus found him through his Jephin Varghese in 2012. He did a lot of songs with Dr. Zeus. He also became a member of the band "Zoo Babies" and was on their first album (1999). After that, many other artists, like Amrinder Gill, Jaz Dhami, The PropheC, and Gippy Grewal, got in touch with him. He also sang the song "Lovely" from the Bollywood movie Happy New Year (2014). His first solo single, "Naiyo Jaan De," came out in August 2015.
At the Brit Asia Music Awards in 2015, he was also nominated four times for "Best Breakthrough Act," "Best North American Act," and "Best Urban Asian Act." His first album, "Bring It Home," came out in 2016. It was called "Goes Without Saying" and came out on October 23, 2020. Fateh's fifth studio album, "Hate That I Love You," came out on January 27, 2022. He has a lot of albums out there, like Bring It Home, To Whom It May Concern, New Memories, Hate That I Love You, Long Story Short, and many more.
