Harmanjeet Singh is a lyricist and poet of Indian origin. He was born in the district Mansa in Punjab in 1991. He studied at Baba Jogi Peer Public Senior Secondary School. He started penning poetry at a very young age. He has written lyrics to some famous songs including the song Laung Lachi from the film Laung Lachi. He also wrote lyrics to the songs sung by Diljit Dosanjh Diljit Dosanjh, born on 6 January 1984, in Jalandh >> Read More... , ‘Aar Nanak Paar Nanak’ and ‘Nanak Aadh Jugadh Jiyo’. Other Punjabi songs written by him are Darshan Mehnghay, Gulaabi Paani, Kaala Suit, Chiddi Baulari, Mitti Da Puttla, Chann Ve, Gutt Ch Lahore, Rooh De Rukh, Kise Da Pyaar Paavan Nu and Paani Raavi Da.

He also wrote the song ‘Paunda Boliyaan’ in the film Puaada (2021). He has written a book titled Rani Tatt, which is a collection of poems revolving around Punjab and its culture. The book won him Yuva Puruskar and Yuva Sahitya Akademi Award in 2017.
