Ashok Tangri is a Bhojpuri actor, director and producer. He began his professional career in 1983 with the film Long Da Lishkara. In the movie he had an acting role of Haakam Daakiya. From 1989 to 1991, he acted in one film every year. He then came in 1997 with the film Mela, in which he played the role of Santu. In 2006, he played another vital role in Baghi. In 2015, he acted in two films - For Here or to Go? and Dheeyan Marjania. He has been regularly acting in films since then. He has at least sixteen film credits in his name. Besides, he is a producer. He produced the film Mela. He is the director of the film Dheeyan Marjania, released in 2015.
