Shivtar Shiv is a Punjabi film director and cinematographer. Shivtar Shiv began his professional career as a cinematographer. He was born and raised in the Punjab area of Nabha. He commenced his career as an aide cameraman for the ATN Punjabi channel. Following that, he appeared in a few television series. He was also Rajesh Verma's assistant on the television show 'India's Most Wanted.' Later, he worked as an aide cameraman on Doordarshan's program Virasat and for the Lishkara channel, where he aided Akram Sheikh.

Shiv then moved on to music videos, where he worked as Manjit Singh's assistant. He collaborated on around twelve thousand musical videos with artists and filmmakers from Punjab. He is now both a Director of photography and a director. In 2018, he directed the Punjabi film 'Saggi Phull,' and he worked as a cinematographer on films such as Once Upon "A Time in Amritsar" (2016) as well as "Patta Patta Singhan Da Vairi" (2015). His movies include but are not limited to “Burf” and “Patta Patta Singhan da Vairi," released in 2015, "Dharam Yudh Morcha" and "Once Upon a Time in Amritsar'" released in 2016, and "Saggi Phull” released in 2018.
