Sasmita Piyali Sahoo, often called by her nickname Chunmun, is an Indian Odia Ollywood actress who was born on 17th December 1998 in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. She used to be an extraordinary child since her school days and has a much appreciative educational background. She completed her schooling from a Govt. Girl's high school and achieved a top rank in her 10th board exam.
After her schooling, she completed her graduation from Utkal University and then applied for Masters in Physics honors in Bhubaneshwar. She commenced her career with her debut film Happy Luck in 2018, and especially got fame for the popular song ‘Osada Nei Aa Jania. She was a winner of kie haba mo heroine season 3 at Tarang, honored with the Odia film fare awards in 2019 for her marvelous performance.
