Hara Patnaik is an Indian director, screenplay writer, and actor popular for his catchphrases in Odia cinema. He was born on 12th October 1958 in Cuttack, Odisha, and spent his whole life there. He graduated from Christ College and studied theatre at Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. He was a theatre actor in the 80s. Later, he got married to Jharna Patnaik and has two daughters Ananya and Arjya.
Hari is regarded as the Best Villain actor in Ollywood. His first film was ‘Sahari Bagha.’ He has worked in more than 60 Odia movies and has directed 19 others. Hari passed away on 13th January 2015 due to blood cancer. He took his last breathe in Bhuvneshwar in a hospital. His death had a great impact on his fans. He was a villain whom everyone loved.
