Harihar Dash

Harihar Dash is a famous dancer and an actor from Odisha. He is known throughout the world for his excellent dance moves. Additionally, he has shown his excellence in acting in various Odia films. He is an ‘Internationally Acclaimed’ dancer from India. His dance talent was first recognized in the reality show India’s Got Talent, where he was among five finalists. Judges reviewed his performance and stated that he would be the best dance representative of India on the world stage.

After his successful performance in India’s Got Talent, he was offered a commercial for telecom company Airtel, which was a great hit. It was his splendid success because he was the first Indian after A.R Rahman to be part of an Airtel TV commercial. His expertise lies in Hip Hop, Locking and Popping, contemporary dance, Break Dance, and various other dance forms. His acting career started in 2011. Canadian theatre company Cirque Du Soleil, based in Canada, which has branches in 22 countries across the world, got in touch with Harihar when he was 25 years old to represent the dance of India.

He got to meet lots of the finest dancers in the world, and from there, he learned many more dancing styles and taught his and Bollywood dance styles to dancers coming from different parts of the world. He got the ‘Best Debutant’ award for his first Ollywood (odia movie) movie as a lead actor. Now, he lives in India and spends most of his time in choreography and doing corporate shows. He has won many awards throughout his career, namely Best Debutant in “ETV Cine Awards” for Mu Premi Mu Pagala, Best Debutant in “Lalchand Entertainment Awards” for Mu Premi Mu Pagala, Best Debutant in “Tarang Cine Awards” for Mu Premi Mu Pagala, etc.
