Prakash Biswakarma popularly known as Prakash Saput was born on 14 September, 1990, in Nepal. He is a singer, composer, actor, and model and has significantly contributed to Nepali folk music. Apart from his excellent music skills, he used his fame and his platform to raise social and political awareness. Prakash started his journey by participating and performing at local cultural events organised in his village. He then became a radio jockey for Dhaulagiri FM and hosted a program called ‘Just for You.’ After this, he moved to Kathmandu to pursue his career further. His debut album got released in the year 2011, with his first song named Gari Khana Deu. His prominent works include Dohori Battle, Bola Maya, Galbandi Chyatiyo, Phuteka Chura, Metro Pani Haina, and many others. He was awarded the Janasewa Shri by the Government of Nepal in 2022 for his notable works in the industry.
