on Himalaya Television. In January 2019, Shanta Nepali worked as a production coordinator in the National Geographic Channel’s documentary series, starring Morgan Freeman, and was widely appreciated for her work.
After some years, she became one of the board members of the Human Rights Film Center. Also, she worked as a Festival Secretary at the Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival. In January 2010, Shanta Nepali founded her production company, Shanta Nepali Productions, in Kathmandu and did multiple film projects. She is also the founder of Shanta Foundation, an NGO for community and women empowerment.
Apart from working in the film industry, she also works in the tourism industry as the Chief Executive Officer of Wellness Adventure Private Limited, which offers wellness and spiritual retreats, and survival and peak expeditions. On the personal front, Shanta Nepali lives in Kathmandu, Nepal.
