Rajendra Khetan is a famous businessman and entrepreneur in Nepal. He is widely known as the chairman of Laxmi Bank Limited and one of the wealthiest personalities in Nepal. Rajendra Khetan was born on December 7, 1970, to his father, Mohan Gopal Khetan in Makhan. He completed his high school education at Adarshsa Vidya Mandir in Lalitpur and completed his college education at Tribhuwan University affiliated college. In 2008, he served in the first Nepalese Constituent Assembly and developed the Khetan Group which specializes in various industries like mining, beverages, food, service, insurance, banking, and many more.
Over the years, Rajendra Khetan has been associated with various companies like PrimeLife Insurance, Everest Insurance, The Himalayan Bank, Nepal Air Charter Service, and Laxmi Bank. He has also held many honorary positions: Senate Member of Kathmandu University, President of Nepal Britain Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Portugal, and many more. On the personal front, he married Sarika Khetan and has two daughters, Sneha Khetan and Aayushi Khetan.
