Shristi Shrestha is a Nepalese film actress, influencer, and professional model mainly working in the Nepali film industry. She was born on October 18, 1988. Shristi Shrestha’s place of birth is Narayangarh, Chitwan, Nepal. She completed her school education in her hometown. After that, she went to the UK to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Nursing. Her hobbies are reading, shopping, reading, and food. She has two brothers, namely Nitesh and Saikash Shrestha. In WWF Nepal, she is the seventh Young Conservation Ambassador. Also, she was involved in promoting the Snow Leopard conservation projects at WWF Nepal.

Shristi Shrestha commenced her career as a model. In 2012, she won the Miss Nepal World & Miss Chitwan titles. At the Miss World 2012, she was the quarter-finalist (20th place), and she was one of the top ten dancers in the same event. During the same year, she was ranked among the top ten participants of the Beach Beauty Miss World competition. Shristi Shrestha held the eighth position in that competition. In the Miss Nepal competition in Katmandu, she was ranked among the top ten participants who won the “Multimedia Award.” Also, she was the winner of the Miss Confidence title. She received the Public Choice Award during the Miss World Pageant 2012.

Shristi Shrestha made her acting debut career in the Nepali film “Gajalu” in 2016. In the movie, she was featured opposite Anmol K.C., a Nepalese actor. After that, she marked her theatrical debut and got an opportunity to portray the role of Ophelia in the Nepali drama “Shakespeare’s Hamlet,” organized by the British Council and directed by Gregory Thomson. The show was staged for thirty straight days in the Theatre Village in Kathmandu. She is mostly featured in various magazines & tabloids on their cover page. She is one of the eminent Nepali actresses featured in Vogue magazine.

In 2015, Shristi Shrestha was featured as a model in the song titled “Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse” (Unplugged), sung by Arijit Singh Most famous for his songs in Aashiqui 2, Arijit Si >> Read More... (Indian Singer) from the Indian movie Jackpot. The same year, she featured in the Nepali music video titled “Sadhai Sadhai,” sung by Devika Bandhana, a Nepali singer. In 2018, she appeared as Muna in the comedy-drama film, “Romeo & Muna” and Shardha in Bandha Mayale. In 2022, she acted in a Nepalese drama film “Chiso Ashtray,” based on Bhupi Sherchan’s poem “Chiso Ashtray.”

In the movie, she played the role of Salinta. In the same year, she worked on two more films such as “The Secrets of Radha” and “Michael Adhikari.” Shristi Shrestha is one of those Nepali actresses who received different titles and awards. She was honored with the National Film Award (“Chaitya” Best Debut Actor Female), Kamala Film Award (Best Debut Actor Female), D Cine Award (Best Debut Actor Female), and Faan Award (Best Debut Actor Female).
