Rima Bishwokarma was born on 5 August 1989 in Bardiya, Gulariya, Nepal. She is a Television journalist, actress, and VJ. She was a prominent host of Comedy Champion Season 1 and Nepal Idol Season 1. She got her bachelor’s degree from Pinnacle Academy in Mass Communication. She did her schooling at Bhassara Secondary School and Navaratna Secondary School. She started learning acting and modeling as she was talented since her childhood. She was a VJ in Jada Jadai and worked as a newscaster on Nepal television. Her acting career started with the music video Jindagibhar Sath Dinchhu by Chris KC, and her first debut movie in the Film Industry was Visa. Before this, she appeared in many music videos. She worked in some movies such as Bato Muniko Fool(2016), Visa Girl(2012), Six Feet Life Bhale Fight, Hijo Aja Kuro(2022), and Escape and Rout(2014).
She has worked with many famous artists, such as Raymon Das Shreshtha and Priyanka Karki. She is linked with many NGOs and is a social worker in Nepal. She did a movie called Swor in 2011, directed by Prasanna Poudel under the production of MRS Movies. One of her music videos Chayachha Basanta was directed by Alok Nengmang and sung by Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal. She went to Australia to shoot the film Ritu.
