Nisha Adhikari, also known as Nisha Adhikari Malla, is a versatile Nepali actress and model. She was born on 4th October 1986 to Khadga Adhikari and Durga Adhikari. Nisha completed her A levels, and then completed her undergraduate degree from the Wigan and Leigh College in 2009. Though a model and a participant of a few beauty pageants, the actor worked as an RJ and VJ for a brief period before stepping into the film industry. She was 21 when she won the titles of Miss Personality and Miss International Nepal 2005. Subsequently, she represented the country in the Miss International Pageant 2005 in Japan. She was selected to compete in Miss Nepal 2008 beauty pageant. However, the event was cancelled due to protests organised by Maoists and other groups.

In 2013, she became the first Nepali actress to successfully climb the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
