Gauri Malla is an actress of Nepali origin. She received Nepals Motion Picture Award for Best Leading Female in 2002, and the Best Supporting Actress Award at the first-ever Lux Film Awards in Nepal in 2003. She was also roped in as one of the judges for the first season of Dancing with the Stars - a dance reality television show in Nepal. After a few years in Nepal, she moved to the US and returned to Nepal in 2014. Gauri Malla has several Nepali films to her credit including Cheli Beti, Santan, Kanyadan, Basanti, Ishqiya, Nata, Gajalu and in 2015 she he also starred in television drama series Singh Darbar.
