Deeya Pun was born on August 22 1995 in Pokhara, Nepal to Bishnu Pun and Laxmi Pun. Her mother has also done fewer roles in the Nepali cinema. Growing up in a culturally rich environment, she had a passion for arts-dance and acting. She finished her primary education in Pokhara and went to Kathmandu for further higher studies. She pursued her degree in Arts from Tribhuvan University. During the college phase, she took participation in various cultural events and beauty pageants. From there, she got noticed by a few filmmakers. She first appeared in the Nepali film "Bir Bikram" in the year 2016. The film was a huge success, bringing more projects to her. Apart from Acting, She has also done modeling in Nepali Music Videos.
