Madan Krishna Shrestha

Madan Krishna Shrestha, also known as Madan Bahadur, is a veteran comedian, actor, singer, theater artist, director, and producer working in the Nepali film industry. He is widely known for method acting and is one of the members of the comedy duo-MaHa Jodi, which has another veteran comedian, Madan Krishna Shrestha. He was born on April 19, 1950, to his parents, Ram Krishna Lal Shrestha and Laxmi Devi Shrestha, in Jitpur Phedi, Kathmandu. He is an accomplished theater artist and has acted in multiple plays.

Over the years, he has acted in multiple films like Love Paapi, Rajamati, Basudev, Ke Ghar Ke Deraa, Mala, Truck Driver, Shatru Gate, Lakka Jawan, Mahapurush, and many more. Apart from being a comedy actor, he is also a talented singer and has sung many songs in the Nepali language. He is also a producer and has produced various films and television serials based on social issues under the production banner-MaHa Jodi. For his contribution to the Nepali film industry, he got the prestigious Jagadamba Shree Puraskar.
