She is the director of FlaminArt Academy, a music, dance, and fine arts academy located in Jamshedpur, which she founded with her sister, Suman. She had an interest in singing and music from an early age. She started getting singing lectures in 2008. Soon after, accompanied by her father, she auditioned for singing shows in Kolkata. However, due to her father’s demise and financial constraints, she quit singing lessons for some time and focused solely on higher education. By 2014, Khushboo started giving private singing lessons.

By 2016, she began earning enough to attend singing classes again. Unfortunately, a few months later, her guruji passed away. The following year, she began facing throat problems and was advised by her doctors to stop singing completely. But eventually, despite the great difficulties, she resumed practicing and working on her skills. In December 2019, she performed at the FlaminArt Academy’s annual event, The Evening Shades. Due to that performance, she received an opportunity to perform at New Year’s Eve event. Today, she continues to practice and upload medleys, covers, and more on her social media.
