Shri Anand Khemani, born on September 9, 1933, is a trendsetter in Sindhi literature and one of the notable authors who has received the renowned Sahitya Academy Award. He is a well-known writer in Sindhi. The book for which he won the Sahitya Academy Award in 2009 was Anand Khemani's collection of short stories, "Rishtan Jee Siyasat." Anand Khemani is credited with authoring more than 20 publications, mostly the Sindhi Story collection and novels he translated for Sahitya Akademy. Additionally, he participated in the Sahitya Akademi Translation Awards 2017 for the Sindhi Language as a jury member. He is one of the best creators of screenplays.
