Debasmita Banerjee is an Indian actress and model In the Bhojpuri film industry. She has also appeared in some Bengali movies, playing lead roles. She was born on the 11th of June in Kolkata, West Bengal. After completing her schooling at Halisahar Annapurna Girls High School, she graduated from Rishi Bankim Chandra College, West Bengal. She debuted her career in acting in 2012 with the Assamese-Bengali romantic comedy film, “Borolar Ghor”. Some of her other Assamese movies are “Suma Poroxote” (2014) and “Krodh – The Devil Inside” (2018). Before starting her acting career, she did many TV advertisements, music videos and short films.

She also worked in many Bengali TV serials like “ Aanchol Aanchol is a Bengali TV serial that has a revenge >> Read More... ”, which aired on GEC Star Jalsha. She also appeared in a sci-fi thriller Bengali movie, “K: Secret Eye”, as a lead actress. In 2018, she debuted in Bhojpuri cinema in a lead role in the film, “Raja Jani”. Since childhood, she had a growing passion for acting and modelling, with aspirations for fulfilling her dream to become an actress. Her interests are not only limited to acting, but she also loves travelling, shopping, yoga and meditation.
