Urdu Tv Serial Sila

Sila is a Pakistani romantic drama serial that premiered on 28^th October 2016 and focuses on the story of Mariam and Taimoor. Mariam is portrayed as a beautiful, kind and hard-working woman who was born and brought up in a middle-class family. Her father is retired and her mother works as a teacher in school. Mariam, after getting a scholarship, decides to join medical college where she meets Taimoor who is portrayed as the son of a surgeon. Soon they fall in love and even though Taimoor’s mother wants him to marry his cousin, he marries Mariam against her wishes. This causes a rift in the family and the tension rises between them.

Mariam soon meets her professor and decides to start a job with him. However, Taimoor dislikes this decision and thinks that it should be him who should earn for the household and not Mariam. Taimoor’s father and his cousin Mishal seek this opportunity to create a rift between Taimoor and Mariam by letting him think that Mariam is cheating on him with her boss. Taimoor initially ignores their talk but when he sees Mariam and her boss coming out of a five-star hotel together he feels betrayed. He goes into depression and starts smoking. He abuses Mariam and even though he apologises to her, it causes a rift to drive between them.

When Mariam’s father suffers a heart-attack and she goes to the house to stay the night, she finds out that she is pregnant. However, when she informs Taimoor about this he doesn’t believe her and thinks that Mariam’s boss might be the father. This infuriates Mariam and she leaves after slapping him. Taimoor decides to divorce her and marry Mishal. However, when he realizes his mistake and realizes that Mariam was speaking the truth all along, he rushes to apologize to her. Mariam forgives him for the sake of their child.
