Shehr-e-Ajnabi is a Pakistani drama series aired on A Plus Entertainment. The series was also selected by the Indian channel Zindagi where it aired from every Monday to Saturday 10:20 pm. Shehr-e-Ajnabi is an emotional and encouraging drama revolving around a girl named Ufaq. Ufaq is a girl who loves to live her dreams, to complete higher studies and become an independent woman. However, her dreams goes in vain when her orthodox parents forces her into marriage. Ufaq sees a ray of hope in her in-laws when they agree to allow to pursue studies after her marriage. But once she gets married, her mother-in-law started to show her actual colour. Things do not remain the same for Ufaq when her husband abandons her and marries her friend. Lost between ideals and the reality of life, Ufaq decides to start a new life. The story beautifully highlights Ufaq's journey from top to bottom, taking a good position in her life.
