Mere Khawabon Ka Shehzada is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2015. Originally it is an Urdu-language dubbed version of the popular South Korean drama named Rooftop Prince. The original gained a lot of popularity, thus, the production team decided to dub the drama and launch it in other countries. The title was changed to cater to the Pakistani audience. People were happy the K-dramas gained popularity in their country with Mere Khawabon Ka Shehzada being the first Korean drama to be dubbed in Urdu. Mere Khawabon Ka Shehzada is a love story that time travels from Joseon Era to the 21st C.E. In the Joseon period, a prince grieving about his wife's death. The story takes the viewers to the beginning of the prince getting married. All actors have played a double role in this drama. This helps in showing a continuity and relation between eras. The prince wanted to marry a beautiful and intelligent girl, thus, the king decided to find such a girl in his kingdom. The king soon found a girl that matched the qualities and decided to marry her with his son. The older sister was jealous that her younger sister had been selected.
