We don't always get a say in our lives. We have to go through it and find peace for ourselves. The story revolves around the life of Ujala. She is a kind-hearted woman who has faced hardships since childhood. She hails from a low-income family. In their childhood, her parents fixed her marriage with her cousin, Mousin. They didn't see each other after that. Her brother is a greedy man who prioritizes money over everything. He tries to get his sister married to a person of low standards for the sake of wealth.
Mousin's mother saves her from that misery. She gets her son married to her. But Mousin has zero interest in his wife. He reluctantly agrees to this out of pressure. They are couples only by paper. He hates her for no reason. While this happens, Faria starts liking Mousin. She loves him dearly and wishes to get married to him. Mousin hides his marriage with Ujala and marries Faria. When he thinks everything is back to normal, Faria finds the truth and leaves him. Now the lives of three people are in question. How they manage to find happiness in their lives becomes the storyline here.
