The show starts with Jalal Ahmed Nawab and his family. His family includes his wife and his only son. They are a close-knit family. Jalal Ahmed and his wife's ultimate wish was to have a child. They were granted a child after many complications. Their son, Bittu, became severely sick when he was just six months old. The sickness led to permanent brain damage. His brain stops developing. He becomes a patient of mental illness.

His parents consult every experienced doctor in the city. But nobody has a solution to Bittu’s illness. Bittu becomes an adult but still behaves like a child. His parents are one of the wealthy families in the city and spend a lot of money to make his life comfortable. On a trip to London, Bittu’s parents get in a car accident. Bittu’s father dies, and his mother becomes paralyzed. She could not move or speak and always required assistance.

Jalal Ahmed’s sister, Urufa, takes responsibility for Bittu and his mother. Jalal Ahmed’s best friend, Barrister Sultan Ahmed also comes to their aid. He is a well-wisher of the Nawabs. Urufa decides to get Bittu married so that they have a normal child to carry on their legacy. Urufa’s husband finds a girl, Noor, from a poor family to marry Bittu. After marriage, Noor realizes that her husband is not normal. She confronts her parents, and it is revealed that they knew about it.

They say that the Nawabs plan to use Noor to bear a child and later, she will be ditched. Her parents suggest killing Bittu soon so that she can inherit his property as she is his wife. Noor reluctantly agrees as she does not want to spend the rest of her life with him. Later, it is shown that Urufa and her husband have evil intentions for Bittu’s marriage. Noor hesitates to kill Bittu as he is good to her. Noor starts liking him and has second thoughts about her parent’s advice.
