The storyline revolves around the life of the matriarch of the house, Amma Bi- an elderly lady from a well-cultured dynasty in Delhi. Now, she lives in a suburban area Radha Krishna Nagar with her three sons and daughters-in-law. It is pretty empowering to see a female character having the highest authority possible over the house, which men usually succeed in grabbing. She is a sagacious woman, and have command over the house members.

Faheem, Azeem and Saad are her sons. Nowadays, clashes among family members over property acquisition has become very common. Here also, Azeem, the eldest son, has eyes on her mother’s wealth. Amma Bi is very particular about food. So every time any daughter-in-law makes food not up to her expectations, they are much criticised.
