Ammai cute abbai naatu is a comedy web series that airs on ETV Plus. The first episode aired on 30th June 2017. The series is a comedy show with each serial having hilarious titles and dialogues by the characters. In the first episode, Babloo is introduced to the audience and he works in a software firm.

He is a fun-loving, satiric character who makes jokes and it is relaxing to spend time with him. Chanti, referred to as “abbai naatu”, returns from Hyderabad. Priya, who is “ammai cute,” knocks the door of Babloo’s. Chanti immediately falls for her looks and the way they interact is bound to make the audience laugh.

The series was created to indulge the viewers in laughter as well as help them relate to their own lives.. Every day, from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, this show airs on ETV Plus. Every episode has a different title and a different outcome, similar to many English sitcoms. The first few episodes are already aired and they have the titles “Torn Jeans,” “Naaku Koda Ammai Kavali,” “ Ammai Kadu Abbayi,” “Phone Poyindi Ammai Dorikindi,” and so on. In each episode, a variety of topics are covered, like entertainment segments, recipes, interviews, film ideas, etc.

The way that Appu and Chanti talk to each other is humorous, as Appu seems to have a soft spot for Chanti, but he does not still get the message. While she tries to talk to him flirtatiously, he responds like an ill-mannered kid. This behavior should turn her off, but Appu’s resilience in trying to make a romantic conversation with him is impressive and commendable.

In the first episode, Chanti falls for Priya, but as she turns him down, poor Chanti doesn’t seem to get the signal that Appu is sending his way. Do all men behave like this? This situation makes the female audience connect with each other. Men don’t understand what women say, and women don’t know how to communicate their thoughts. This saying is the generalized opinion of people. However, in Chanti’s case, we feel the blame should be on him. He needs to man up and court the woman.
