1. Mahathi
Mahathi is an Indian musician, born on 10 February 1985 in Chennai into a family of musicians. While her father, Thiruvaiyaru Sekar, is a former Carnatic vocalist, her mother, Vasanthi Sekhar, was a flute player. She completed her schooling from Cochin and graduated from Meenakshi College, Kodambakkam with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. With music running in her blood, it was no surprise to discover a child prodigy in Mahathi. When she was just one and a half-year-old, she started identifying the Carnatic Ragas, and by the time she was three, she could identify seventy-five of them. She got her initial training from her parents, as well as from Deepa and Gayatri at Thiruvananthapuram. Further, Sri O S Thiagarajan, Padmabhushan Chevalier Dr.M. Balamuralikrishna, and Padmabhushan T. N. Seshagopalan provided for her formal training. The talented prodigy was not kept hidden and in 1994, she received a scholarship from the Central government. Mahathi began performing at concerts when she was just ten.

3. O S Arun
O S Arun is an Indian Vocalist who has done various albums and singles in the Tamil classical music industry. Arun’s actual name is O.S. Vaidyanathan. His family has a musical background, and he was trained in music, saying it to be their Parivar Parampara. His first music teacher was his father, Vidwan O.V. Subramaniam. Later he got a proper training in classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and from the Delhi University, where he did diploma in classical music.

Sowmya Srinivasan, also known as Vidushi S. Sowmya, is a Carnatic vocalist, Vainika and Researcher born on 16 April 1969 in Tamil Nadu. She first learnt music from her father, Dr. M. Srinivasan, a Chemical Engineer passionate about Carnatic Music. She then learnt from Sangita Kalanidhi, Dr. S. Ramanathan. After several years, she trained from Sangita Kala Acharya, Smt. T. Mukta. She was a Second Rank Holder and Gold Medallist in B. Sc. (Chemistry) at Meenakshi College, Madras University (1990).

V V Prasanna is a Tamil playback Singer with a great melodious voice. The particular contributions of the talented Editor came in the Tamil movies. He has worked dominantly in Tamil Film industry and keeps coming up with some gratifying work. He is a Carnatic vocalist and has performed many classical and Hindustani Concerts. He started his training under the Late. Shri. S.R.V. Sharma, a famous singer from Coimbatore and “Gaana Kala Kesari” Thiru. K.V.Nataraja Bhagavadar of Coimbatore. His skills were further developed and honed by Thiru. Neyveli.R.Santhanagopalan, who’s classisms are very popular and well known.
