Kaalai Dharisanam is a Tamil television drama series that premiered on Colors Tamil. In the show, the host takes the audience on a religious journey by shedding light on various famous temples in India. The spiritual show is quite informative as it uncovers the long lost facts and secrets associated with the temples, and the deities. The first episode features the famous temple Thirumeeyachur, which is located in Thiruvarur district of Tamilnadu. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Lalithambika. The popular Lalitha Sahasra Namam originated from the Goddess Lalithambika of this temple. In second episode, the host takes us on a beautiful journey of the temple Sri Kediliappar temple, situated in Thiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu. The temple is the dedicated to the deity, Goddess Anjuvattathu Amman. The most important fact about the temple is that it’s significance orginated from the specific story where Goddess Parvati reincarnated as Anjuvattathu Amman. She did so to protect Lord Muruga's penance. The temple Raja Mathangi, located in Thirumalam, was also featured in one of the episodes. It is believed to be the place where Goddess Parvati lives as Raja Mathangi, along-with her soulmate, Lord Shiva as Raja Mathangar. In of the most interesting episodes, the host gives knowledge about the temple Sri Parvatheeswarar temple, while presenting its beauty wonderfully. The temple is situated in a village called Injikudi, in the district of Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu. It was made for the love and devotion for Lord Shiva, also known as Parvatheeswarar. Sri Konnaiyur Muthumariamman Temple is an extremely popular temple in the Pudukkottai District. The temple was made for Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility.
