Ivan Yaaro is an Indian cyber crime drama series in Tamil. It aired on the Vasantham channel, and its episodes are also available online on meWatch. It depicts the story of a youngster and his struggles to realize his dreams.

Charan, a youngster, is fascinated by computers, robots, and anything related to the digital world. He was a fan of Sci-fi movies and aspired to create something unimaginable for the world. However, his dreams did not sit well with his father, Senthil. He thinks he is just distracted and wants his son to become a lawyer like him. Later he met Yuvan and became his friend. Their team won a humanoid competition, and he got offered a job abroad. Since he did not want to go overseas, he started working diligently on his new project Tobor, inspired by a strange dream. 

Charan had to work in his father’s law firm unwillingly. He ended up messing things up, earning his father’s wrath. It worked out fine for him. He joined Zon. On the other hand, Tobor was complete, and its popularity reached sky-high. His brother Arun met his school crush, Levina, and started dating her. The antagonist, Mano, is a cybercriminal who wants to steal Tobor. He meets Charan pretending to learn digital art from him. After some time, Charan gets fascinated by his online friend Rakshi from Sydney. They decided to meet, and Tobor suggested various methods to impress the girl.

Meanwhile, Levina showed more interest in Tobor, which made Arun angry. After knowing everything, Levina broke up with him. Later, Rakshi did not come for the date, leaving Charan disappointed. She came up with an excuse, which Tobor did not believe. Angrily, Charan shut him off for doubting Rakshi’s integrity. They agreed to meet again. It also ended in a no-show by Rakshi. Hence, Charan and Tobor decided to track her down. He was shocked that Rakshi did not exist and it was a scam.

Mano tried to hack Tobor with his hacker friend Ragu but failed. Charan tracked down the villain behind the scam. It turned out that he was none other than Mano. Charan also got to know that Mano is a criminal eyeing Tobor. One night, Rakshi asks Charan to meet, and he goes against the advice of Tobor. After that, he went missing. A police investigation ensues, leading them to Mano. Mano made a fake story that Charan introduced Rakshi to him and that Rakshi wanted to steal Tobor. He was also facing some problems at home. Police deduced that he might have left due to the pressure at home. Senthil was devastated by this conclusion and regretted his decision. Levina patched up with Arun. He was sadly missing his brother.

Charan was ambushed and kidnapped by Mano and his goons. Later, Yuvan claimed online that he collaborated to create Tobor, and Charan took all the credit. Hence, listening to Ragu’s advice, Mano seeks an alliance with Yuvan against Charan. Later, he met Rakshi’s lookalike, Nivedha, and offered her a deal. She agreed to steal the code from Charan. Then, she introduced herself as Rakshi to Charan, who was happy to see her. However, he refused to disclose the passcode. Desperate, Mano puts Nivedha’s life on Knife Point to know the code. Instantly, the police intervened. It turns out that it was all a plan to trap and capture the cybercriminals and their syndicate with the help of real Rakshi, Yuvan, and Charan.

This intriguing series ended on a happy note and proved a complete entertainer.
