Ravana Season 2 is the second season of the mythological serial named Ravana that was aired on TV Derana in Sri Lanka and is a continuation of the story from the first season. Ravana is shown to have grown into a fine young man who is ambitious and a strong warrior. He values his upbringing and the land. Even though riots are still widespread in the nation Ravana makes it his personal mission to acquire the trust of all the clans and rightfully ascend the throne which was taken from them. He is cunning and uses his knowledge and battle strategies to win against his enemies hence becoming the eyesore of the clan of Devas and the Suras. He also acquires the sword of Chandrahasa hence fulfilling the prophecy.

Chandrahasa is a magical sword that helps him to always win in battles as it is blessed by Lord Shiva. As the serial progresses we get to know about Ravana's true intent and his true potential of becoming a great ruler. He is an ambitious man who has a love for knowledge and values his land and family along with all the people living in the nation. He unites the clans spread throughout the kingdom and restores the kingdom with wealth and prosperity. However, because of all the development, he gains enemies both from his kingdom and overseas who wish to defend him and acquire the throne. How they plot to overthrow Ravana and how Ravana defends his people and how that plays a major part in the story of Ramayana is what constitutes the rest of the season.
