Kusumasana Devi is a Sinhala teleseries that aired on TV Derana in 2019. It is a biographical drama about Kusumasana Devi, the Queen of Kandy. She was also known as Dona Catherina of Kandy. Her father, Karaliyadde Bandara, ruled Kandy for 30 years. After his death in 1581, Kusumasana Devi was appointed as the client ruler in the Danture campaign. She had three children with King Vimaladharmasuriya: Mahastana, Surya and Santana; three children with King Senerath Bandara: Kumarasingha Astana, Vijayapala Astane and Deva Astane; a son, Prince Philip Jr., from her Yamasinghe Bandara, her first husband. But he died a few weeks after birth.
