Alu Yata Gini is a Sinhala television serial aired in Hiru TV channel. The series was initially aired in 2005. The series focuses on the story which revolves around a young woman in a remote village. To the peaceful life of the woman with her family comes a politician who is very powerful with his power. The politician sexually assaults the woman which made the women collapsed with her mindset. She faces a lot other miseries and by this, she decides to leave the village and settle in the town. Slowly in the city, she rebuilds her life which makes her more matured and courageous.
