Zeenath is an Indian  actress in Malayalam movies and television serials. She has done supporting roles and character roles in many Malayalam movies without any career breaks since 1991.She has bagged the Kerala state film and television awards twice in her career, former as best dubbing artist and later as best actress.

Zeenath was born in 1962 at Nilambur, Malappuram district in a mediocre Muslim family. She has six siblings. Ashokan was born in 1967 at Cheppad in Alappuzha. Ashokan got graduated from TKMM College in Haripad. He got his first film offer when he was in his first year of his college. “Peruvazhiyambalam” was his debut movie which was a huge success. In 1986, Ashokan did a movie namely “Arapatta Kettiya Gramathil” which was directed by P.Padmarajan. Ashokan did a movie namely “Thoovanathumbikal” in 1987, which had actor Mohanlal in the leading role. “Anantaram” which was a 1987 Malayalam picture, in which Ashokan did the principal role.
