She was indeed lucky to bag the role of Kadambari in the serial Kadamabari of Balaji Telefilms on Udaya T.V where she essays the role of a sacrificing elder sister. She shot to fame with this serial and Shwetha became a household name. After these serials, it was followed by Sukanya on ETV Kannada. She also played a role in the serial Arundhati on ETV Kannada in the year 2010. On doordarshan too, she has appeared in her serial Soundarya.
